Over the last several years, From The Heart Music Hour
has steadily been building a platform of exposure to showcase songwriters, both aspiring and accomplished, in the Southeastern
United States and in particular North Florida recording artists from our studio.
From The Heart Music Hour originated
as a weekly radio show that aired from April 2008 to October 2009. Each week the show featured recordings by local and regional
songwriters. Included in the broadcast were interviews telling "the story" behind the songwriters. In conjunction
with the radio show, From The Heart coordinated live performances at different venues where the songwriters performed their
original songs. Then, in late 2009, we had the opportunity to move our vision to public television, WFSU-TV our local affiliate.
Understanding our vision, they graciously agreed to give us broadcast time enabling us to produce a documentary style music
program enabling us to share "the story" behind the songwriters, as well as their performances and the locations
where filming takes place.
Five of our Episodes were filmed at the Monticello Opera House in Monticello, Florida. Our
sixth episode took place in Gulf County, Florida at four different venues. Our seventh episode includes two US venues in July
2012, at The Moon in Tallahassee, Florida and Indian Pass Raw Bar near Port St. Joe, Florida, and Ireland August 2012.
We are forever grateful to our production crews, sponsors,
volunteers, ticket holders and songwriters. With your continued support and interest in our vision, all of
you make this program possible and allow this music journey to continue.
